This week (May 13 - 19) is Food Allergy Awareness Week. When we entered this world two years ago, I was surprised to learn that 90% of food allergies are caused by only 8 foods: wheat, soy, milk, eggs, peanuts, treenuts, fish, and shellfish. Of these 8, Joseph reacts to 5 of them.
As I’ve searched the web for others with food allergies, I’ve seen all sorts of different combinations of foods that people can’t eat. So, today, I wanted to highlight the most popular recipes on my blog that are free of all the top 8 allergens. (Note, I make an exception to coconut being a tree-nut, as many people who are allergic to tree nuts are able to tolerate coconut)
