Cookbook Review: The 2011 Book Blogger’s Cookbook
I’ve not been too happy with the free e-cookbooks I’ve downloaded. However, the premise of The 2011 Book Blogger’s Cookbook
intrigued me enough to give it a try. I love to read, and pairing books with foods combines two of my loves. What’s even better is that most of the books featured in this cookbook are my favorite genre: young adult fantasy.
There are only 20 novels/recipes in this cookbook, which puts it on the short side. Still, its nicely formatted. It works on an e-ink Kindle, but you’ll want to read it with full color available on the apps or Fire to get full advantage of the novel covers and food pictures.
I really want to make a Joseph-safe version of frozen hot chocolate, and will be using the recipe from this book as a guide. The Rose Orange Julius also looks like another tasty one to adapt. Other Joseph-safe recipes include District 12 Beef Brisket, Harmony Hominy Soup, Tadpole Soup (really, a kind of tapioca pudding), and Rosemary Lemon Roasted Chicken.
Not bad for some inspiration.

It looks interesting. Tadpole Soup would be a winner with the kids.
I hope you enjoy it!
